form and function
Ignite Architects have designed an attractive building that makes the most of its prominent corner site. Latitude Residences blends form and function. Large glass joinery, glass balustrades and large balconies provide a striking façade and light, sun-filled apartments. Level 1 residences are raised above the footpath on a low podium to provide better privacy. Vertical louvres break up the horizontal lines of the six levels and provide shelter and shade to the bedrooms. The freestanding corner balconies maximise the outlook and views while white box frames – offset against a dark exterior cladding – and timber soffits give a fresh nautical feeling to the building befitting its harbourside location.
Award-winning designers Urban Lounge Interiors have created premium living spaces that exceed every expectation with regards to space, materials and livability. This is a sophisticated development, from the ground floor entry lobby to the spacious penthouse apartments on the sixth floor. Generous in size and luxuriously finished, the apartments’ open spaces, timber laminate floors and expansive joinery create an environment that lets the view speak for itself.
The view from the penthouse apartments across Robbins Park and the Tauranga Harbour to Mount Maunganui is spectacular, but there is more to these residences than a stunning vista.
